Redland women can celebrate spring at the inaugural Redlands Women’s Expo, today, Saturday, September 1 at Sheldon Event Centre from 9am to 4pm.

The expo is the brainchild of Redlands Centre for Women founder Katrina Beutel, who hopes attendees will have a day of fun and walk away feeling empowered and connected within the Redlands community.

Ms Beutel said the expo would be a key annual event to help the Redlands Centre for Women fulfil its mission.

“The expo will help raise vital funds for our programs and after consultation last year we realised women in the Redlands also wanted to have access to information on things that interested them and to get connected with other women,” she said.

Main stage demonstrations and entertainment will start at 9.30am with host Jackie Price from The Kitchen Table Network kicking off proceedings. There will be cooking, beauty, hair, dance and decluttering workshops.Download the workshop program here.
