THE Storm was going to find some red-hot form again, and unfortunately it was against us.
They came out firing and scored in the first minute and we never really recovered.
We were rattled for the entire first half.
We defended a lot better in the second half and Ivan was proud of our fight, but it was too little too late.
The light in the darkness was another awesome performance by young gun Matty Robinson, who has now scored three tries in three games. He came up through the system at the Auckland Warriors and we’re loving having him as a Panther now.
It’s hard to regroup after a loss like that last one but we spent Sunday at the annual under-6s gala day at Shalvey, lending our support to the kids and their parents.
There’s nothing like hanging out with kids to remind you what’s really important, and it was a great day out for all involved.
This week we take on the Raiders at home, and we will be marking Close the Gap round with some traditional indigenous dancing and other activities.
We urge you all to get out and cheer us on, and support Closing the Gap on Indigenous Health in Australia.
