TRAVELLING to Auckland is always a rough road trip, so we are extremely pleased to have got the two points over the Warriors.
It wasn’t the prettiest of games but I was proud of “never give up” attitude from the boys.
To have two debutants was pretty special and everyone was very impressed with young guns Adam Docker and Tom Eisenhuth coming in at the last minute and playing their hearts out.
This year has been a learning curve for the club.
The players, the staff and the fans have all had a tough time of it but I believe it’s made us stronger as a Panthers family.
Captaining this great club has been the highlight of my career and I would like to thank the fans for their unwavering support.
